Greensboro’s Downtown Greenway is on the design phase for its final 1-mile link that will complete the downtown loop. The Downtown Greenway is a thriving urban trail with art and sustainable trail amenities that allows residences to travel around their community by foot or by bike.

This project also extended the trail north connecting to the 7.5 mile Atlantic Yadkins Greenway. The Atlantic Yadkins Greenway is planned to be 13. 6 miles long and will connect multiple small towns and regional trails, thereby expanding the regional sustainable transit network.
